Sick AGAIN!

I really thought that once we made it out of March, we would be safe from the traditional Winter illnesses. The Boy has been home sick since Friday. Yucky, nasty, antibiotic resistant ear infection. He has been on one antibiotic since Friday...it hasn't worked. He has had a fever all weekend. The doctor is calling in a new antibiotic. If that doesn't work within 48 hours we have to consider shots. Yikes. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the miserable ear infection to go away?
